Channel Signal Basic is our entry level option for self starters who have time to manage ever-changing product lists on their own, and need limited support with success and insights.

Collection: Self-Serve

Your team sources URLs and indicates clean product titles and a categories. Product change management is on your shoulders, so when new products or variations are released, or old ones are discontinued, you’ll be responsible for the updates.

Brands: 1 +1 Competitor

Aggregate and compare product reviews for your brand and one competitor.

Sites: 3 (Standard Sources)

In our years of experience, we have discovered that the most review volume and actionability comes from 12 main sites, which we call Standard Sources. 3 Standard Sources are included in the Basic Plan.

Premium and Custom Sources are also available as an add-on to your plan. To see these sources, and which are Standard, Premium or Custom, click the Sources dropdown on the quote form below.

Products: Up to 50

With the Basic plan, you collect the URLs. Up to 50 URLs come standard in the Basic Plan.

Additional URLs can be added for a fee, up to 100. Counts above 100 must choose a higher plan.

Analysis: No

Analysis is not available in the Basic Plan. To choose analysis, please choose another plan.

About Analysis

Our custom analysis comes from an expert in the field of turning product reviews into decision making gold. This is one of our most popular offerings as it is invaluable to have a third party look at your review data with an independent eye.

You may choose to receive analysis weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Your account team will work with you to ensure you get the right time frame for your data volume.

Executive Summary: No

Executive Summary is not included in the Basic Plan.

Our Executive Summary page contains the high level insights the C-Suite cares about. Perfect for incorporating in board meetings and monthly reports, this will become the most actionable data a company can get its hands on.

Review Response: Add-On

Some sites allow manufacturers to publish a response to a review. This is incredibly important for resolving complaints, clarifying misunderstandings and ensuring no stone is left unturned when there is an unsavory opinion about you or your products.

Channel Signal calls this service “Engage”. It includes daily collection when applicable and the ability to respond without having dozens of tabs open. You may not be able to turn every review into 5 stars, but you can make yourself part of the consumer conversation in a timely manner with Engage from Channel Signal.

Data Frequency: from Daily

With our Standard sources, data comes in daily. For Premium and Custom sources, daily and weekly data options are possible. Talk to your account rep for details.

Textual Analysis: Yes

Industry-leading analysis tools help you uncover trending topics and sentiment in the review text. Use the word cloud as a starting point and drill down on keywords by rating, brand, category, product or e-commerce site. With our advanced keyword search, you can hone in on the exact text you’re searching for.

Keyword Drivers: No

Our Keyword Drivers (Key Drivers) feature is not available in the Basic plan.

About Key Drivers

Whether preset by you or determined by the data, drivers are key brand attributes you can monitor over time. Our team works with you to ensure each driver is complete by creating if/then rules.

For example, a running shoe company may choose these key driver topics:

Style

The Channel Signal team will work with your team to ensure each topic has the right keywords behind them. For example, keywords that may indicate “Style” could include appearance, handsome, attractive, beautiful, ugly, compliment, cute, gorgeous, sleek, modern, stylish and more. “Style” may also include the word looks or looking, but exclude the phrases looking for or looking into. This is where the Channel Signal expertise comes in.

Historical data is not available with the Basic Plan.

About the Historical Look Back

By populating your platform with 12 months of historical data, you are able to get an immediate snapshot of your performance in the marketplace. This also allows for immediate year over year comparison of your data.
