It’s clear that consumer generated product reviews are getting more attention by consumers and the brands they write about. And yes, reviews are now considered a key metric when a company needs to determine product performance.
In this video, we address how to make product reviews actionable, what to do with good reviews and what to do with bad ones. We built a scatter chart that shows four buckets where many of the products, when analyzed, land. It identifies the products with:
- high review volume (many reviews) and a high star rating (4 stars or more)
- low review volume (few reviews) but a high star rating (4 stars or more)
- high review volume (many reviews) but a low star rating (1, 2, or 3 stars)
- low review volume (few reviews) and a low star rating (1, 2, or 3 stars)
So, what do you do? Take a look at the video and to see which products ought to go to:
- Product Development
- Sales
- Marketing
